How to turn off Camera Shutter Sound on Samsung Smartphone?

Leaving the camera shutter sound turned on sometimes can turn the situation into worse, because you occasionally capture photos in public just to preserve things as a memory, but the mishap befall you when you click the capture button, then those who hear the shutter sound take the wrong assumption and begin to stare at you with suspicion as if you are keeping a watch on them when the reality is opposite of what people think.

So always make sure to keep the camera shutter sound off while recording videos and capturing photos in public.

If you are a Samsung user and want to turn the camera shutter sound off, then you must bear one thing in mind that there is no in-built feature/option in Samsung Smartphones to do it. It does not mean you sit down and wait for an update to fix this issue, because there is still a relevant way to do it manually and the only thing you have to do is to open the pre installed Modes & Routine application on your Samsung Smartphone and follow the steps mentioned below.

Steps to turn off Camera Shutter Sound on Samsung.

STEP 1. Make sure you are on the Routine section and click the + icon.

Step 2. Click “+ Add what will trigger this routine“.

Step 3. Search and click the App opened option.

Step 4. Search and select the Camera option and click the Done button.

Step 5. Click “+ Add what this routine will do”.

Step 6. Search and click on Sound and vibration option.

Step 7. Search and click on Sound mode and volume.

Step 8. Reduce the System volume to 0% and hit the Done button.

Step 9. Click the Save button. (Look at the screenshot below, it implies that as long as you keep the Camera application open in your smartphone the system volume would remain at 0% and after exiting the application it would get back to the way it was before.)

This feature is just a tip of an iceberg in this Modes and Routine application since there are countless features like this one, where you can create any routine and customize it the way you want.

For instance, if you want to keep your smartphone in silent mode in some specific places, then this application is enough to create such a feature and customize it the way you want.

NOTE: The steps mentioned above may mismatch in the time to come, but the application would still be relevant since the feature and routine in this application are designed to work conditionally (For instance – if you open camera app then it will cause the system volume to come down to zero.)
